The euro is facing challenges and opportunities. In the wake of bold quantitative monetary policies in the main currency areas of the world, exchange rates have massively adjusted. In the same time, Europe is working hard to set up a visionary model for its banks and financial markets through the “Capital Markets Union” initiative. This conference brings together the European Central Bank, to present their forthcoming report, Bruegel and CEPII to discuss policy proposals for the international role of the Euro.
