The file geo_cepii.xls provides the country codes used in BACI files. It provides also useful codes, names, abbreviations, classifications or other geographical information used in the CEPII work. For instance, corresponding names and codes for other databases as CHELEM or GTAP are included. Similarly, some variables of general interest are also available, like continents, the World Bank classification by income level, landlocked status and official language. This file updates the geo_cepii file provided in the CEPII distances web page.
