  All articles submitted to Economie Internationale must adhere to the following instructions.  
 
  Manuscripts should be written in English and not exceed 25 pages, including tables, figures and appendix. This is equivalent to about 58 000 characters. Lenght of articles
 
  The article should start with
  • title
  • author's name, with a footnote mentioning the following information: fonction, institutional affiliation, address, email, phone and fax numbers
  • an abstract of not more than 120 words
  • at least one classification code according to the Classification System for Journal Articles as used by the Journal of Economic Literature
  • three to five keywords
A short biography of about 4 to 5 lines should be attached in a separate file.
Information
 
  All tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and should be referred in the text.
All tables and figures should have a number and a title.
The units should be clearly indicated.
Full sources should be provided both for tables and figures, including : the full title of the source publication, its date and the organisation which published it.
For graphs, the labels of curves and bars charts should not be given in an abbreviated from.
Tables and figures
 
  Boxes are included in the text and should have a title, and be referred in the text. Boxes should not be longer than a single page. Boxes
 
  There should not be more than three levels of headings:
  • Section heading
  • Subsection heading
  • Paragraph heading
Headings
 
  Footnotes should be numbered consecutively throughout the whole article. Short, they are not used to develop aspects of the article in greater detail, and they should not include mathematical formulae. Footnotes
 
  References
  • are referred in the text by the author's name and the year of publication in brackets (Smith, 2005)
  • are listed in alphabetical order by author's name at the end of the main text
They include
  • the author's last name
  • initial letter of the author's first name
  • year
  • title
  • name of the publication and reference
  • publisher
  • place
  • pages
according to the following example

The author has to make sure that there is a strict one-to-one correspondence between the names and years in the text and those on the list.
