Recovery is gaining pace in the Eurozone. However, there are still many economic and policy related challenges stemming from both inside and outside the single currency area, namely the persistent risk of stagnation and low inflation, the high level of public debts, the need for domestic growth enhancing reforms, the migrants’ crisis, a possible BREXIT. Leading economists from two German Economic research centres (DIW and CESIfo) and two of their French counterparts (CEPII and OFCE) joined by the Head of the French Prime Minister's think tank will be discussing the ways to improve the governance of the euro area in light of these pressing issues.
