Ariell Reshef is an economist at CEPII, specializing in international trade, technological change and its impact on the labor market.
In addition to his responsibilities at CEPII, he is Director of Research at CNRS, and a member of the Centre d'Economie de la Sorbonne and the Paris School of Economics. He is also a member of the CESifo network.
After graduating from New York University in 2008, he worked at the University of Virginia from 2008 to 2016, where he was appointed permanent associate professor, before leaving the United States for France.
His research focuses on changes in the structure of employment, changes in income distribution, productivity growth and innovation. He also studies how regulatory changes affect labor demand and wages in finance and legal intermediation.
